Men’s basketball announced the signing of 7-footer Andrew Zelis to a National Letter of Intent on Monday.

Zelis will have three seasons of eligibility with the Huskies after leading Kaskaskia College to a 23-9 overall record in 2014-15. He redshirted with Stetson University in 2013-14.

Zelis, the second-ranked junior college center in 247Sports’ class of 2015, is the sixth player to sign with NIU for 2015-16. He joins Levi Bradley, Jaylen Key, Austin Pauga, Laytwan Porter and Marshawn Wilson.
