Indie film festival offers $300 prize

NIU will hold its 14th Reality Bytes Film Festival 9-11 p.m. April 14-15 and 7-8:15 p.m. April 16 in Cole Hall, Room 100.
This event will feature alumnus and screenwriter Mark Valadez. The first two days feature showings of independent films. Valadez will speak about his experiences in Hollywood on the final day.
A prize of $300 is given to the Best Short Story Fiction and Best Documentary. A prize of $50 is given to the high school short film winner.
