Student to hold animal stress therapy event

By Northern Star staff

There will be pens of puppies and kittens Monday and April 28 in the Chick Evans Field House to help students relax before finals week.

The pens will be out 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and community members will be able to adopt the animals. Monetary and other donations, including cat and dog food, litter and carriers, will be accepted at the event.

All of the proceeds will be donated to TAILS Humane Society, 2250 Barber Greene Road.

Sarah Stendebach, junior nutrition and dietetics major, is holding the event with the help of Alpha Phi Omega and TAILS. Stendebach said she wanted to find a “fun way for students to relieve stress.”
