Men’s basketball announced the signing of Marshawn Wilson to a National Letter of Intent, the program announced Wednesday.

Wilson, a 6-foot-2 combo guard, is rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN and is ranked at three stars by Rivals.

Wilson averaged 26 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game while leading Hill-Murray to a record of 21-8. Hill-Murray finished in second place in the Minnesota Section 4AAA tournament. He was named St. Paul Pioneer Press Player of the Year and was a finalist for Minnesota Mr. Basketball.

Wilson joins four fellow signees for the 2015-16 class. He was an AAU teammate with Levi Bradley and Jaylen Key, who already signed with NIU. Austin Pauga and Laytwan Porter make up the other two NIU signees.
