Potbelly Sandwich Shop will donate a fourth of its proceeds to the DeKalb County Community Gardens 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

The shop, 1013 W. Lincoln Highway, will hold the fundraiser in the spirit of “kicking off” the planting season, according to an NIU Today news release.

DeKalb County Community Gardens is a nonprofit organization that grows produce throughout DeKalb County and distributes it to food pantries, schools and shelters, among other places.
