DeKalb Police Department to hold annual charity breakfast

DeKalb Police Department will hold its annual charity breakfast 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday at Knights of Columbus Hall, 1336 E. Lincoln Highway.
The breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, and biscuits and gravy. Proceeds will go to local park district teams, child advocacy services and Special Olympics.
“I think it is important people come out to support our town, police department and to know they are helping out local organizations with the donations,” said officer Jordan Poulos.
Admission for adults is $4, children 7 to 11 are $2 and children under 6 are free.
