The Illinois Stepping League will hold the Illinois State Youth Stepping Championships 5:30 p.m. April 25 at the Egyptian Theatre, 135 N. Second St.

The participants are comprised of 12 step teams in elite, junior and high school levels from around the state.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Egyptian Theatre in advance or at the door. Advance tickets will be available April 1-15 for $22 per person. At-the-door tickets will costs $32 for adults and $22 for children under 12. Tickets at the door can be purchased at $22 for groups of 10 or more people.

“These kids work really hard,” said Tanisha Brewer, Illinois Stepping League president. “They started their training in July and so we are all really excited”.

Tickets will be available online for advance purchase 10 a.m. April 1.
