College of Education alumni to talk about bringing innovation to classrooms

College of Education alumni will share how they’ve introduced innovation into their classrooms at an upcoming panel event, according to a College of Education news release.
Renee Gust, owner of Kids Connection in St. Charles; Meg Van Dyke, a teacher at O’Neill Middle School in Downers Grove; and Maria Walther, a first-grade teacher, will speak during the panel, according to the release. Professor Laurie Elish-Piper, presidential adviser on College and Career Readiness, will moderate.
The panel’s reception, which will feature, hors d’oeuvres, starts 5 p.m. March 26 in the Altgeld Hall ballroom. The discussion begins 6 p.m.
The panel is part of the Community Learning Series.
