Former quarterback Chandler Harnish signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday.

Harnish was a four-year starter at for the Huskies between 2008 and 2011, when he set 30 school passing, rushing and total offense records. He led the Huskies to a 22-5 record in his final two seasons, earning All-MAC first team honors those two seasons.

Harnish was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 with the final draft pick. In 2012 he spent time with the Colts on the active roster and practice squad, and he spent 2013 on the practice squad.

Last season, Harnish was a member of the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad. He has not played in a regular season game in his three years in the league.
