The DeKalb Public Library will hold a Seed Sorting Potluck at 6 p.m. March 31 in the library’s meeting room.

The library, 309 Oak St., will invite community members to bring a small dish to the potluck and help sort seeds in preparation for the Seed Library Initiative on April 22.

The Seed Library Initiative is an event where people can choose seeds from the library’s collection to plant for the year. Information will be available during the initiative to determine what seeds to plant in a variety of gardens.
