Graham Crackers Comics and Alpha Phi Omega will hold Friday Night Magic 7 p.m. to midnight April 3 at Graham Crackers Comics, 901 Lucinda Ave.

Friday Night Magic is a charity event featuring the trading card game “Magic: The Gathering.” There is a $16 entry fee and all proceeds will go to Alpha Phi Omega’s Duck Race, an annual event held to raise money and awareness for charitable causes.

This year’s Duck Race will raise money for the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders and will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 19 at the WNIJ – WNIU Broadcast Studios, 801 N. First St.

Charles Fischer, owner of Graham Crackers Comics, said Friday Night Magic will appeal to casual “Magic: the Gathering” players as well as members of the dedicated gaming community.

“Since this is a charity event … we do our very best to pair people with one another based on their familiarity with the game and the expertise they have at playing,” Fischer said.
