Senior Nelle Youel was named MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

Youel extended her undefeated start of the spring to 24-0 with a pair of victories this weekend. She earned wins against the No. 1 singles players from Bowling Green and Miami (Ohio), winning each in straight sets.

This is the second time this season and third time in her career Youel has earned the weekly conference honor. She’s the ninth Huskie this academic year to earn the weekly distinction.
