Softball will spend its Spring Break in Florida, playing 12 games over a nine-day stretch.

The Huskies (4-8) take on Florida A&M 11:15 a.m. and Sacred Heart 3:45 p.m. Saturday in Winter Haven, Fla. On Sunday, they’ll play Southern Illinois 3 p.m. in Orlando, Fla. The Huskies were originally slated to face Rider at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, but winter weather expected in the Mid-Atlantic state forced the cancellation of Rider’s Saturday games in Florida.

The Huskies were scheduled to participate in the Coach B Classic over the weekend in Edwardsville, but winter weather wiped out the downstate tournament. The cancellation added the trio of games this weekend in Florida.

After the trio of replacement games, the Huskies will continue their stay in Florida with their regularly scheduled nine games in the Sunshine State.
