Tuesday
• At 10 p.m. March 9, possession of drug equipment and unlawful use of a weapon were reported to have occurred at 5 Northern View Circle. At 12:34 a.m. Tuesday, Shaquille Alexander, 22, of Bolingbrook, was charged.
• At 12:15 p.m., theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at Cole Hall. This case was declared unfounded.
• At 5:18 p.m. March 6, deceptive practices were reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Station. This case was referred to another agency.
• At 6:30 a.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at the Convocation Center. This case was closed by exception.
• At 10:15 p.m., criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at 1525 W. Lincoln Highway. This case was closed by exception.
Wednesday
• At 12:10 a.m., two counts of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported to have occurred at 700 N. Annie Glidden Road. This case was closed by exception.
• At 1:08 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 830 N. Annie Glidden Road. This case was closed by exception.
• At 4 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at 600 Lucinda Ave. This case was suspended.
• At 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred at Neptune East. This case was closed by exception Wednesday.
Thursday
• At 7 p.m. Feb. 24, two counts of domestic battery were reported to have occurred at Gilbert Hall. This case was suspended Thursday.
• At 11:11 a.m., Cateece James, 24, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Station.
• At 5:30 p.m. March 11, credit card fraud was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall East. This case was opened Thursday.
• At 7:30 p.m., illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall West. This case was closed by exception.
• At 10:48 p.m., Maurice A. Walton, 24, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at 1155 Lincoln Drive N.
• At 7 p.m., criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case was suspended.
