By Patrick Smith

Men’s tennis will look to remain undefeated in conference play as well as try to remain perfect at home this weekend.

The Huskies (13-4, 1-0 MAC) will be hosting the MAC rival Western Michigan Broncos (15-4, 1-0 MAC) 2 p.m. Friday in Rockford. The Huskies boast a 5-0 home record.

The Huskies and Broncos are at the top of the MAC standings. They have won an outstanding 77.7 percent of their games. This game will be pivotal because the winner of this match will be in first place in the conference.

“I think it’s as big as you can get,” said head coach Patrick Fisher. “Western Michigan has been the powerhouse in the conference the last few years as well as us.

“Yes, we’ve played well at home and in past years we have done well at home. We definitely like our chances to come out victorious.”
