The Third Onion will perform “The Porno Factory” at 7 p.m. March 26 and March 28 in the Holmes Student Center, Diversions Lounge.

The Third Onion is a student-run theater program of the School of Theatre and Dance.

“The Porno Factory” is a play written by NIU writing instructor Loren Hecht that tells the story of Harriet, an inexperienced writer who moves to New York City to write pornographic novels, according to a School of Theatre and Dance news release.

“Yes, the story contains explicit language — but the play is edgy and satirical, rather than erotic,” Hecht said, according to the news release.
