Women’s tennis senior Nelle Youel is now alone at the top as the all-time career wins leader in program history.

Youel notched her 138th and 139th career wins Saturday in Rockford as the Huskies beat the Bradley Braves, 4-3, to push their season-opening start to 3-0.

The record of 137 career combined wins was held by Anna Widen, who set the mark in 2000.

Youel broke the school record with a win in the No. 1 doubles match as she teamed up with junior Cristina Alvarez. Her day wasn’t over as she proceeded to win the No. 1 singles match in straight sets.

The Huskies return to action 1 p.m. Saturday in Rockford against Hope College.
