DeKalb Public Library holds Chinese New Year celebration

The DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St., will hold a celebration of the Chinese New Year at 6:30 p.m. today in the main floor reading room.
The NIU Chinese Music Ensemble will welcome the Year of the Sheep with a lion and dragon dance and will perform, according to a DeKalb Public Library Facebook post. Traditional money bags will be given away for luck in the new year. The event is free and open to all.
