Nursing professor Donna Munroe to be remembered at memorial event
February 25, 2015
Nursing professor Donna Munroe will be remembered at a March 5 service on campus.
Munroe died during a Jan. 12 University Council committee meeting. “She was very well-liked by faculty and students,” said Jan Strom, chair of the School of Nursing and Health Studies, according to a Jan. 20 Northern Star article.
Faculty from the School of Nursing and Health Studies are putting together a memory book to honor Munroe. Notes and photo submissions to the book will be accepted until the end of the day March 2. They may be sent to [email protected], the reception desk of the Nursuing Building, Room 190, or to the Nursing and Health Studies office in Wirtz Hall, Room 246.
The memory book will be shared at the 3 p.m. March 5 memorial service in the Holmes Student Center, Regency Room.
Attendees can also bring photos and notes to display on posters that will be at the service, and the photos and notes will be returned upon request.
