Women’s tennis will put its undefeated start to the spring season on the line against the in-state Southern Illinois Salukis this weekend.

The Huskies (8-0) will take on the Salukis (2-6) 9 a.m. today in Carbondale. This will be the Huskies’ first road contest since they defeated the Cleveland State Vikings, 4-3, Jan. 25 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Huskies capped off a six-game homestand with a trio of weekend wins, which helped them earn their first Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings in program history. They came in tied for No. 74.
