Wednesday

1. At 12:50 p.m. Dec. 9, battery and criminal sexual assault were reported to have occurred at 2 Northern View Circle. This case was closed by exception.

2. At 1:45 p.m. Jan. 15, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at the Chick Evans Field House. At 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, Chester Buford, 18, of Chicago, was charged.

3. On Sept. 29, credit card fraud was reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Department. This case was opened Wednesday.

4. At 8 p.m., seven counts of possession of cannabis 30 grams and under were reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.

5. At 10:10 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at Lot X. This case is open.

Thursday

6. At noon, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred at Neptune North. This case was closed by exception. At the same time and place, possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred. This case is open.

7. At 9:03 p.m. Jan. 11, credit card fraud was reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Department. This case was opened on Thursday.

8. At 4:15 p.m., theft from a building was reported to have occurred at the Recreation Center. This case was suspended.
