NIU’s Presidential Commission on the Status of Women is looking for nominations for its 2015 faculty and staff awards.

The Wilma D. Stricklin Award for the Enhancement of the Campus Climate for Women is awarded to the person who improves NIU’s campus climate for women, while the Outstanding Mentor Award is given to a faculty or staff member who has worked with women at NIU to help them advance their education and/or career and the Sharon Howard Women Who Make a Difference Award is given to a faculty or staff member who has worked to empower women.

Nominations are due by Feb. 13. Nomination forms and two letters of support may be submitted by emailing [email protected]. Go to niu.edu/pcsw/awards/ for more information.
