An NIU meteorology alumnus has given his first weather report in more than a month for a Waco, Texas, TV station after being shot in December. 

Patrick Crawford, who was shot Dec. 17 outside KCEN-TV, resumed his job Monday as morning meteorologist, according to Heather Brinkmann, Crawford’s wife.

Crawford graduated from NIU with a bachelor’s of science in meteorology. Police say the investigation continues, though a suspect has not been identified, according to The Associated Press.
