NIU is looking for a student to be a featured presenter for its TEDxNIU Talks in April.

The TEDx Talks will focus on “hidden superheroes” and will feature presentations from 9/11 first responder Tim Brown, motivational speaker Dale Spencer and author Loren Hecht, among others. NIU is also seeking a student to present an impactful story that fits the “hidden superheroes” theme.

To apply, students must submit a resume to [email protected] and must prepare a seven- to eight-minute presentation about what topic they would like to speak on. More information is available online.

The talks are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 25 in Altgeld Hall, Room 116. Tickets are $15 for students or $17 for non-students and are available online.
