Northern Lights are looking for ambassadors for the 2015-16 academic year.

Applications for the position are open to undergraduates. Ambassadors work with other students, faculty and staff to “assist with retention, engaged learning, fund development, public relations, outreach and special events,” according to the Northern Lights website.

To apply, submit an application, two letters of recommendation and a resume electronically to [email protected]. Applications are available on the organization’s website, niu.edu/engagedlearning/northern_light/. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13.

Applicants must have a declared major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Those who are selected must be able to attend meetings 4-6 p.m. the first Monday of every month.
