Div. II men’s hockey has bolstered its streak of consecutive games with at least one point to 19 contests in a row.

The Huskies lost to Div. II Illinois State, 3-2, in a shootout Friday but responded to beat the Redbirds, 4-3, Saturday at Leafs Ice Centre in West Dundee.

The Huskies are 15-0-4 in their last 19 games. They opened the season 0-3 and haven’t lost in regulation since then. Their last loss in regulation came against Div. II Missouri State, 4-0, Sept. 20 at Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva.

The Huskies’ next matches are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Leafs Ice Centre against the Div. II Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Cougars.
