Wrestling continues its season-opening road trip when it heads to the Illini Quad this weekend.

The Huskies will take on Rider 2 p.m. Sunday in Champaign. They then face off with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville 3:30 p.m. and host team Illinois 5 p.m.

Rider went 14-8 last season and finished 37th out of 72 teams at the NCAA Championships.

Southern Illinois-Edwardsville is coming off a tough year when it went 6-19 in the regular season.

Illinois, the host team, went 11-8 in the Big Ten last season and will provide the Huskies with their toughest matchup.

Illinois senior Jesse Delgado is coming off of back-to-back Big Ten and NCAA championships at the 125-pound weight class.
