Men’s soccer can’t score, ties Loyola
October 5, 2014
Men’s soccer failed to find its offense for the second-straight game.
The Huskies (2-4-4) played to a 0-0, double-overtime draw against the Loyola Ramblers Saturday in Chicago.
Redshirt junior goalkeeper Andrew Glaeser made four saves to keep the Huskies in the game, but the offense couldn’t find the back of the net.
The Huskies have been unable to record a goal in their last two games, and they’ve only notched four goals in their last five games. They’ve gone 0-2-3 during that stretch, with three of the five games coming on the road.
The Huskies return home for a non-conference game against the Northwestern Wildcats 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Soccer and Track and Field Complex.
Following the game against Northwestern, the Huskies begin their conference schedule. They open MAC play against the West Virginia Mountaineers 7:30 p.m. Saturday in DeKalb.
