NIU STEM is looking for student volunteers to assist at the annual STEMfest Oct. 18 in the Convocation Center.

The university’s science, technology, engineering and mathematics departments will host activities and competitions to raise awareness about the impact of science during the event.

Students may sign up to volunteer in shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Those who volunteer must attend a orientation meeting Oct. 17, where pizza and soda will be served and T-shirts will be distributed.
