Wednesday
1. At 7 p.m. Aug. 25, battery was reported to have occurred at the Holmes Student Center. At 2:53 p.m. Wednesday, James Parsons, 36, of DeKalb, was charged with battery.
2. At 5 a.m. Sept. 6, burglary from a motor vehicle was reported to have occurred at Lot P. This case was suspended Wednesday.
3. At 2 p.m. Oct. 5, theft of lost or mislaid property was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was declared unfounded Wednesday.
4. At 1 a.m., disorderly conduct was reported to have occurred at Jimmy John’s, 850 Pappas Drive. This case was closed by exception.
5. At 8:29 p.m. Oct. 2, harassment by telephone was reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Department. This case was closed by exception Wednesday.
6. At 4:20 p.m., two counts of disorderly conduct were reported to have occurred at Neptune Central. This case was closed by exception.
Thursday
7. At 2 p.m. July 30, theft from a motor vehicle was reported to have occurred at Gabel Hall. This case was suspended Thursday.
8. At 6 p.m. Sept. 10, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Neptune West. This case was suspended Thursday.
9. At 1:18 a.m., Bennie Lewis, 25, of Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to real property reported to have occurred at 831 Crane Drive.
10. At 12:26 p.m., criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Lot PS. This case was suspended.
11. At 9:57 p.m., Mark Williams, 19, of Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to real property reported to have occurred at University Plaza, 900 Crane Drive.
12. At 9 p.m., battery was reported to have occurred at the Holmes Student Center. This case is open.
