Fundraising for the DeKalb DogHouse, a campus food truck, is being done through a Kickstarter campaign with a $20,000 goal.

The DogHouse, created by alumni Jordan Delegal, Keith Otis and Elliot Echols, was introduced Homecoming weekend at the Martin Luther King Jr. Commons and west tailgating field of Huskie Stadium, according to an Oct. 14 Northern Star article. The food truck, which would be NIU’s first, would serve gourmet sandwiches.

The Kickstarter campaign at kck.st/1xb12Yz has garnered $1,960.
