A student group will host Survivors Find Freedom Oct. 30 at New Hall Community Center.

United by Diversity will display a sexual assault awareness gallery of poems, song lyrics, short clips, data and student quotes 2:30-4 p.m. and 7:30-10 p.m.

The goal of the event is to raise sexual assault awareness and to celebrate triumph of sexual assault survivors without reliving their abuse, according to a United by Diversity news release.

Students, staff and faculty are welcome to submit material to be displayed or share their experience at [email protected]. Submitted emails will be read aloud and the senders kept anonymous during the event.
