More real estate taxes distributed

The DeKalb County Treasurer’s Office made its fifth real estate tax distribution Friday, according to a news release from Treasurer Christine Johnson.
This was the final distribution before the Oct. 27 tax sale, when the remaining taxes will be collected.
About 93.1 percent of the about $204,990,512 to be collected has been gathered and disbursed to government districts, schools and services.
Of the about $190,808,452 collected so far, funds have been distributed to:
• School districts: $113,695,188
• DeKalb County and Forest Preserve District: $21,454,604
• Cities and villages:
$12,670,256
• Community colleges::
$11,712,187
• TIF districts: $8,153,643
• Townships and township road and bridge districts: $8,036,590
• Park districts: $6,822,283
• Libraries: $4,196,527
• Fire districts: $3,945,047
• Drainage districts: $122,124
