DeKalb police issue 77 citations during traffic campaign

DeKalb police issued 77 citations, including 48 seatbelt citations and 11 improper use of cellphone citations, during their Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program campaign, according to a news release.
During the campaign, officers worked 55 hours on seatbelt patrols. The department will continue to participate in the traffic campaigns, with the next scheduled around Halloween.
