The Sycamore Fire Department will host a 9/11 memorial service starting 8 a.m. Sept. 11 at Johnson’s Junction, across the street from Sycamore Fire Station one, 535 DeKalb Ave.

Fire Department Chaplain Drew Whitfield will lead a short prayer service at the beginning of the event.
