David Kraft, Nuclear Energy Information Service director, will provide a presentation about the hazards of nuclear energy at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Holmes Student Center, Heritage Room.

The presentation, called Exelon’s Nuclear War Against Renewable Energy, will cover measures being taken by Exelon to prevent energy alternatives to nuclear power. The program is free and open to the public.

Kraft co-founded Nuclear Energy Information service in 1981 and is currently working on a report called, “You Can’t ‘Nuke’ Global Warming: Why Nuclear Power Cannot Mitigate Global Warming Effects.”
