Former NIU Huskies defensive tackle Ken Bishop was draft 251st overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft May 10.

Bishop came to NIU after playing his freshman and sophomore seasons at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

In two season in DeKalb, Bishop recorded 125 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions in 27 games.
