The first day of Tugs started off with a delay due to rainy weather conditions, said Interfraternity Council President Trevor Morrison.

The tournament’s first match started with Alpha Kappa Lambda beating the Fratastic Four, a team made up of Theta Chi, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Phi Epsilon.

The second match ended with a win by Phi Kappa Theta over Phi Kappa Psi.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon defeated Sigma Alpha Mu in the third and final match of the day.

“The conditions were a little more slippery today due to the weather,” Morrison said.

The tournament continues at 4:30 p.m. today on the east side of Huskie Stadium.
