The Grad Sport Society will present the fourth annual Rise and Run 5K Race.

Rise and Run will be 8 a.m. May 4, with check-in at 7 a.m. in the West Lot. The race will begin at the West Lot of Huskie Stadium and will conclude at the 50-yard line of Huskie Stadium.

The course will take participants around the Convocation Center, the Outdoor Recreation Sports Complex and Mary M. Bell Field. The race will conclude inside Huskie Stadium.

An entry fee of $20 will be offered to those who register before Sunday. The entry fee will rise to $25 from Sunday to April 28 and to $30 from April 29 to the day of the race. The entry fee includes a free T-shirt, water on the course and post-race refreshments.

Five dollars will be deducted from the entry fee with a donation of a used or new pair of shoes, limit one per participant.

Proceeds will benefit DeKalb Adventure Works, Share Your Soles and the Grad Sport Society.
