People needed for NIU Cares Day

Project site leaders and kick-off volunteers are needed for NIU Cares Day.
NIU Cares Day, an annual day of community service, is April 12.
Project site leaders are in charge of project sites and assist with communication between volunteer teams and supervisors while being on call for any unforeseen situations. Project site leaders must be faculty, staff or graduate assistants. Training prior to the event is provided.
T-shirts will be distributed and transportation between project sites is not provided. This position has a time commitment of 6:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Kick-off volunteers help out at the kick-off, or rally, where volunteer teams are checked in and T-shirts and water are distributed. Volunteers must assist in controlling the kick-off crowd. This position has a time commitment of 6:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.
