Day attempts to end stereotypes
March 2, 2014
This is What A Feminist Looks Like sticker day is Tuesday.
As a part of Women’s History Month, this event intends to break stereotypes associated with the definition of feminism by providing all students and faculty, regardless of race, gender or political affiliation, with a sticker or button that identifies them as a feminist.
Free stickers or $1 buttons, with the phrase “This is What a Feminist Looks Like,” can be picked up at Reavis Hall, Room 103, the Women’s Studies Program office.
The event is sponsored by the Women’s Studies Program, Women’s Rights Alliance and the LGBT and Women’s Resource Center.
