Nathan Dettman, DeKalb resident and DeKalb Community Gardens volunteer, helps sort seeds Tuesday at the Sycamore Library, 103 E. State St., during the first seed bank collection and potluck. The seeds will be supplied to the community for food gardens. The seed library’s goal is to collect seeds after the crop and to promote seed diversity and healthy eating. The library will hold another seed library and potluck April 8.
