Women’s history month kicks off

Women’s History Month events kick off Tuesday in the Holmes Student Center.
Shifting Fault(lines) & Negotiating Pathways: The Challenges & Opportunities in Constructing Cross-Racial Women’s Alliances will be held noon Tuesday in the Illinois Room.
Katrina Caldwell, assistant vice president for Student Affairs, will lead the discussion which focuses on exploring the “place” of women of color in feminism.
This year’s Women’s History Month focuses on the 50th anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
The event is sponsored by the Women’s Studies Program and LGBT and Women’s Resource centers.
