The Huddle offers tasty burger
February 4, 2014
The Huddle, 817 W. Lincoln Highway, offers two juicy new burgers with an appetizing twist.
The Texan is topped with bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce. The toppings and condiments tasted like a combination from heaven. The crunch of the onion rings provide a crisp taste to the juicy burger; however, the amount of toppings turned eating the burger into a bit of a battle.
The onion rings added some serious height, making it difficult to eat. The barbecue sauce adds a great kick to the burger. The Texan explodes with flavor as a result of these combinations, and it is a fantastic choice.
The Carnivore is another option new to The Huddle. The 1/3- pound burger is topped with none other than savory bacon, a fried egg and cheese. This is a divine choice for someone looking for a breakfast type of burger. It held a fantastic amount of flavor. The bun was toasted on the grill, so it had a nice little crunch to it. The option brings carnivorous love.
The Huddle’s fries add a nice touch to the meals, too. Typically, fries can be too soft, too crunchy or way too salty. Fortunately, the chefs found a decent middle ground of all three, although the fries were a little light on the salt.
Despite the slight lack of salt, the french fries were delicious and definitely stand out from those at your average restaurant. They were fresh and full of flavor. The fries are certainly an enticing addition to the already fabulous burger. It is hard to not love and become addicted them.
Burgers and fries is not a new concept, but The Huddle definitely raised the bar with its new options.
