Students were challenged not to spit out a full mouth of water after members of Poetic Asylum tried to get them to laugh. Student organization Poetic Asylum hosted a spoken word petry event entitled “Pain and Pleasure” which included emotionally powerful and driven poems about love and relatonships, to humorous crowd interactions and games Friday night in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center.
