Community adviser meeting approaches fast

By Northern Star Staff

If students want to be a community adviser they have one last opportunity to attend a mandatory meeting to become one.

Students interested in being advisers are required to attend at least one informational meeting. The last meeting will be held on Thursday in each of the residence halls.

A community adviser is in charge of the residents in their hall, floor or cluster. Their responsibilities include making sure students follow NIU’s rules for living in the residence halls and planning activities and games.

If a student becomes a community adviser he or she will not have to pay for room and board.

For more information, contact a community adviser or hall director.
