If students are looking for something to do or just want more cash in their pockets, they can attend NIU’s career fairs.

The first fair NIU holds in its Convocation Center is the Internship Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 18.

Students are advised to dress as professionals and bring their resumes to the fairs.

If students are looking for something a little more permanent, the Full-time Job Fair is Feb. 19. It is also held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

Other events include the NIU Educators’ Job Fair. Students and alumni are encouraged to preregister.

There is also the Retail Leadership Expo, which will be held on March 27 in the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center.

In preparation for the fair, Kohl’s is sponsoring a workshop, The ABC’s of Getting an Internship. The workshop will be held Feb. 10 in the Capitol Room of the Holmes Student Center.

Another preparation workshop will be held Feb. 12. in the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center.

Students are able to attend the fairs for free.
