Joseph Kuhlmey and Michael Reid have been selected as NIU Army ROTC program’s Cadet of the Month. Kuhlmey is a freshman chemistry major as well as a member of the ROTC battalion’s competitive Rifle Team. Reid is a sophomore history major as well as a member of the Rifle Team and participates in the Ranger Challenge.

Both were nominated by cadet leadership and were awarded cadet of the month because of the strong commitment to the Army and program they demonstrated as well as taking part in ROTC extracurricular activities.
