Local non-profits contest finalists

Two nonprofits are battling to win a $15,000 office makeover.
Opportunity House, 202 Lucas St. in Sycamore, and Feed’em Soup, 122 S. First St., have been named finalists in the RK Dixon/Premier Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest. The winning organization will receive an office technology makeover of up to $15,000, according to the contest website. Other winners will receive printers. Cash prizes will be given to runners-up.
This is the eighth year for the contest. Both groups run on donated funds and services.
Voting in the contest runs until 5 p.m. Friday. People may vote once a day at mmnprb.com.
