D.C. internship registration open

Students can apply for the university’s annual congressional internship program.
This program is held in Washington, D.C., and is open to all majors. Four students will be selected to live and work in the nation’s capital. The program runs from late May through early August, when each student will intern for a member of the Illinois congressional delegation.
Each student will receive a $6,000 scholarship to cover housing costs and some living expenses. Housing will be provided by George Washington University, and students will receive a tuition waiver for six credit hours of political science courses.
Applications for internships can be found online or at the political science office in Zulauf Hall, Room 415. All applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. Nov. 1. For more information, contact 815-753-1015 or email [email protected].
